Ticket to Ride (A Beatles Tribute)

SHOW STARTS @ 3:00 pm
AGES: 21+
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Ticket To Ride Electric has been shattering attendance records at concerts, festivals, wineries and breweries; taking the audience on a family friendly musical journey through time by performing crowd favorites from the Beatles catalogue… from Please Please Me all the way through Side Two of Abbey Road! Capturing the authentic Beatles sound with tight harmonies, the band members use the same authentic instruments used by the Beatles; Gibson, Rickenbacker, Hofner, Vox and Mellotron to name a few. All of the members have been performing musicians their entire lives. Kevin, one of our founding members, plays guitar and is one of four singers in the band. He plays a hollow-body Gibson to recreate that classic Beatles, George Harrison guitar sound. Julian plays guitar and also sings. He plays a hollow-body Epiphone and Fender Stratocaster, and usually plays the majority of lead guitar solos during performances. Matt is our bass player. He’s the other founding member and also one of the lead singers. He played trombone from grade school through college jazz; after which he switched to the bass. Matt and Kevin are two of the original founding members of the band. Sherman is our 5th Beatle and also a lead singer. Classically trained, he plays piano, acoustic guitar and the Mellotron which is an instrument the Beatles often used in the studio to add special sounds like the flutes in “Strawberry Fields Forever.” The orchestral horns, brass and strings George Martin put into the studio recordings will usually be replicated by his Mellotron. Robert is our Ringo and has been in many 60’s and classic rock bands. He is a dynamic percussionist who can rock the show as well as add finesse to the Beatles beautiful ballads. We’d love to bring our family friendly Beatles show to your venue! While we generally play the electric show, we can still bring an acoustic set to a venue if requested. For each performance we create artwork for the upcoming show, create an event on the band’s page (which is Ticket To Ride Electric) and pay to advertise the event. We also invite the venue to co-host the event so notice of the event will also be pushed out to those who like or follow the venue’s page. If you are interested and would like us to perform for you sometime this season, please contact us with your proposed show date and we’ll check for conflicts and reply. Cheers, and we hope to hear from you! Beatles & Brew!!!
